Map Memory

Greetings Soulkeeper!

Have you ever played Memory? You have a bunch of face-down cards and to flip two of them and see whether they match. If so, they’re yours and you may flip the next two cards. If not, you ideally remember their location, flip them face-down again, and try again in the next round.

We would like to play Memory with you! But in a slightly different way. Throughout your journey across Friggard, you may have noticed that some areas are very similar, no? That is exactly the point. Each day, for seven days in total, we will share an area with you in which we have placed an object that does not belong there. Go there, find the object and make a screenshot of your character next to the object. Please keep in mind to have the map visible on your screenshot as well. In addition, we will tell you the name of the continent you can find the twin area on. Find the twin area on that very continent, go there and take a screenshot of your character next to the object as well as well (remember the map!). Submit both screenshots and enjoy some free gifts.

The event will take place from March 1^st to March 7^th. The objects will be placed in the areas from 10:00 am until 10:00 am of the following day. Afterwards, they will be removed. The submission deadline for the respective day ends at this point in time.

Event Rules

• The general event rules apply.
• You can participate with only one character per account. Please do not change it during the event period.
• When taking your screenshots, you have to see the character next to the object as well as the map of the respective area. Please use any service provider of your choice to share the screens, such as http://www.imgur.com for example. Submissions we cannot work with will not be taken into account.
• The rewards will be handed out after the event has ended.
• The decisions of the team are final.

apparently the channels of unused maps are closed after a certain time, which then unfortunately also removes my objects. Unfortunately, this was not planned. I will see if I can somehow change or prevent this and I will inform you as soon as something comes up.

The event is modified in such a way that I look for a specific place in the areas that I am describing. Submit a screenshot of both locations. The rules still apply and the form can still be used.

The first map is the Simoom Sandbasin in Levens. You can find the counterpart in Portus. In the Simoom Sandbasin there is an NPC next to an egg and a nest. In the twin area you will find a mysterious altar next to a large bone.

Due to the bumpy start, the deadline for the first (today's) screenshot will be extended to 6:00 pm tomorrow. For all other following posts, 10:00 am of the respective until 10:00 am of the following day applies.

In the Forest of Secrets in Heliana, an injured man kneels next to two blue mushrooms in front of a rock wall. In the equivalent in Rodby, two bulls stand in front of two barrels between two tents.

Many snakes are in the Cave of Silence in Heliana. For their ritual they placed three magical stones on a stone circle. In Portus, on the other hand, three snakes are drowned in poisonous water. A green fire burns on a stone plinth on the bank.

A giant golem's seal was broken in the Valley of Ashes in Levens. He now guards this and attacks everyone who wants to banish him from this world again. The druid who settled there has meanwhile fled to Portus. He is now waiting under a stone arch for someone to stem the tide.

A caravan of traders was ambushed in the Field of the Fallen in Portus. Their cart is still at their resting place. A campfire is burning there, next to two tents and a couple of blue flags. The prisoners themselves were taken to Rodby. There they are now kneeling, handcuffed, in the camp of their kidnappers.

In the Mnemos Woods in Levens, the frogs of the Verdara Tribe claim a large area for themselves. People are not welcome there and are directly captured. Many have to stew in the sun, but two of them were lucky and are allowed to wait for their rescue in the shade of several large leaves. In Portus, however, the frogs are no longer doing so well. Well-armed fighters have already pushed the frogs back and freed the prisoners. But a bastion holds up well. A banner with three white footprints next to a lake marks the spot.

Harpies, harpies, harpies everywhere. One blue, the other red. One in the Harpy Territory in Heliana, the other in Rodby.
